In 2016 we had over 400 visiting filmmakers and over 1200 industry members attend the festival, not including thousands of additional regular audience members. Tickets go on sale in the next few weeks, but there is a way to insure you get early access to the festival’s program.

We offer four types of passes for this year’s 2017 Portland Film Festival:

  • INDUSTRY PASS – Get access to every event, workshop, panel and film on stand by. Includes opening night film and after party and closing night film and after party. Access to filmmakers lounge. Show up to films at least 15m before start time. Get a festival bumper sticker. $119.
  • ALL ACCESS PASS – Get access to every event, workshop, panel and film. Includes opening night film and after party and closing night film and after party. Show up to films at least 15m before start time. Get a festival bumper sticker. $169.99.
  • VIP PASS – Get VIP access to every event, event, workshop, panel and film as well as all filmmakers events including the lounge, offering filmmakers and VIPs dinner, snacks, appetizers and drinks daily 2 to 6:30pm. Includes opening night film and after party and closing night film and after party. Get a swag bag with a festival shirt, tote and bumper sticker. Get 10% off any festival merchandise. Get free popcorn. Show up to films at least 15m before start time. $299.99.
  • STUDENT & SENIOR PASS – Discount to students and seniors 55 and older. Show proof of enrollment or age using a valid ID. Get access to every event, workshop, panel and film. Includes opening night film and after party and closing night film and after party. Show up to films at least 15m before start time. Show up at least 15m before start time. All Shows starting after 5:30pm are strictly 21 and over. For shows starting before 5:30pm, anyone 20 or younger must be with parent. $99.99.

No matter, the pass you purchase, you’ll get more access to independent film and learning opportunities than any other festival in Oregon. And buy before October 23rd to take advantage of EARLY-BIRD pricing.

There are a variety of prices and options available for attending the Portland Film Festival. Individual tickets will be sold up to 24 hours in advance of the screening. The day of the event, tickets will only be sold at the screening venue. A rush “stanby” line will be opened for every screening one hour before screen time. Even if sold out online, a select amount of tickets will be held for sale at every event.

Watch films made by kids on Saturday, March 3rd

Walk the red carpet. Grab a balloon animal! Watch films made by kids. Come to the Kids Film Festival. Held exclusively at Laurelhurst Theater on Saturday, March 3rd. Tickets are $3 each. The doors will open at 12:30pm—come early to get a Festival swag bag, available only to the first 50 attendees. And don’t miss meeting the kid filmmakers in attendance or their Q&A after the screenings.
